The kick off meeting of the European project "QSE-VET - Quality standards for evidence-based vocational education: indicator 5 and 6 of EQAVET" was completed with great success on 08-09 February 2018 in Larissa, Greece.
The overall aim of our three year program is to develop guidelines for VET authority and VET provider concerning indicators for measuring the quality of acquired competences takes into account the requirements of companies and industry. The main characteristic of the elaborated standards will be development of guidelines and operational indicators with best practises which enable measurement of VET outcome and enable authorities to introduce accountability for evidence-based vocational education.
During the two-day meeting, 5 organizations representing 5 countries discussed about issues regarding quality assurance in Vocational Education and Training, the objectives of the European strategy and the awareness raising of stakeholders. The next partnership meeting will take place in Rome (Italy) in October 2018.
